Inline with CII’s efforts over the years, in shaping India's development journey and transforming Indian Industry's engagement in national development, CII through its AI Forum has been working closely with AI technology leaders, young techpreneurs, researchers, AI experts, investors, data scientists, innovators, academicians, and other government and industry stakeholders.
CII this year is planning to hold a day long Global Summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in February 2024 in New Delhi.
About Conference 2023
India stands at the cusp of the technology- led transformation and Artificial intelligence (AI) is a driving force behind technology transformation. The country has been actively working on fostering AI research, development, and adoption.
Various remarkable steps have also been taken by Government of India towards promoting the adoption of AI across the sectors. The announcement during the Union Budget 2023-24 by the Government for the vision of “Make AI in India” and “Make AI work for India” have also paved road for the advancement of AI led technologies and its adoption in the country.
Towards taking Government’s vision and endeavour forward in AI, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) through its AI Forum, has been working closely with AI technology leaders, researchers, AI experts innovators, academicians, and other government and industry stakeholders.
CII is organizing the Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit and Awards 2023 Ceremony on 26 February 2024, in New Delhi, India. The theme of the summit is “Responsible AI for Accelerated Growth in India”.
Objective
- Bring together industry, technology providers, investors, and start-ups from Indian and abroad on single platform to deliberate on significance of AI led technologies across the sector.
- Encourage adoption of AI in a responsible manner by Indian Industry and building public trust in the use of AI technology.
- Create awareness about the benefits of AI led technologies.
- Recognize and reward user industry, technology or solution providers, innovators and entrepreneurs leading the AI Revolution in India through CII AI Awards.
- Support government taking forward the vision of ‘Digital India’.
