1. Publications
CII has been playing a proactive role in India's developmental process, by integrating its functioning with the needs of the economy and industry. We have been working towards developing reports, publications and white papers with focus on AI in diversified sectors for building proven structures of research and innovation.
2. Policy Advocacy
AI needs to be made transparent, secure, free from biases inherent in data sets, and subjective interpretation. CII AI Forum has been working towards providing a vibrant platform for discussing issues, challenges connected to AI, and interacting with key industry and Government stakeholders leading to concrete, implementable recommendations.
3. E-sessions and Workshops
While AI can generate new employment opportunities where humans and AI can work together to make human lives more comfortable with appropriate skill development, there are concerns that AI can replace human and can cause job losses especially in the MSME. Thus, it is imperative to establish an AI ecosystem which encourage adoption of AI in a responsible manner by Indian Industry and building public trust in the use of this technology by creating awareness on adoption of AI through various programs and sessions.
Number of focused web-based seminars, exclusive sessions, and round tables have been organized under CII AI Forum. The objectives of these e-sessions and workshops are as follows :
- To create awareness about responsible AI across the Industry especially MSMEs.
- To bring together government officials, policy makers, AI technology leaders, young techpreneurs, researchers, AI experts, investors, data scientists, innovators, academicians, and other government and industry stakeholders.
- To engaging the industry and exploring partnerships, both in India and International.
