International Conference on AI : February 2023
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised the third Edition of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence during the AI India Show at International Engineering and Technology Fair (IETF) 2023. The theme of the conference was ‘Responsible AI for Accelerated Growth in India’ and was supported by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, National Small Industries Corporation, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to Government of India, and Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The inaugural session had presence of Dr. V.K Saraswat, Hon’ble Member, NITI Aayog as a Chief Guest. The other dignitaries of the Inaugural include Prof. Rangan Banerjee, Director, Institute of Technology, Delhi; Mr. Sandip Patel, Chairman, CII AI Forum and Managing Director, IBM India / SA; Mr. Sujith Thomas, India Head - Engineering & Manufacturing, Maritime and Responsible Mining Sector, Department for International Trade, British Deputy High Commission; and Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar, Chairman, CII Northern Region- IoT and President, Aeris Communications.
The Conference would witness a series of engaging discussions by industry, academia, and Government stalwarts on journey of AI/ML for empowering the Digital Economy; scaling AI from lab to real world solutions; expanding AI and Need on Governance & Data Quality; emerging Market Trends in AI ML; challenges in AI ML Adoption; sustainable AI, ducing carbon and costs with the power of AI; and internationalizing AI for exploring collaboration Beyond Borders.
The event also witnessed AI Business Roundtable on and Corporate Innovations, AI Champion session for startups, AI knowledge sessions on AI-Powered Credit Decisioning at Scale and Powering Business Transformations with Democratization of AI by corporate stakeholders, product launches, and live demonstrations.
The conference was attended by nearly 50 eminent speakers and is being attended by more than 300 delegates. AI India Show 2023 has attracted over 70 exhibitors, and delegates from over 2500 companies, over 500 B2B Contact to Contract meetings.
